This is written in May, 2017, a VERY good
month for our soon to be
completed new water storage tank for the Village of Tariffville.
The new tank is only a few steps away from
being filled, sanitized,
and taking over the storage of water from our old tank (1940 vintage).
Here it is on the day it was painted "pearl".
Next steps include installing solar panels on the tank's dome,
to power
the water height measurement system, and a radio telemetry link to
send that information to the computer that operates the water pumps.
The tank will be sanitized, leak tested, and have its water tested
to insure it is safe and meets all federal and state standards.
Then it will be connected to our water system,
and the old tank will be demolished.
